Girls Swimming places 4th at State, breaks 200 Medley Record

After+winning+the+200+medley+relay%2C+Pinger%2C+Laderoute%2CNorris+and+Laderoute+stand+on+the+podium+with+their+first+place+medals+at+the+6A+OSAA+State+Swimming+Championships.+Not+only+did+the+group+place+first+overall%2C+they+also+broke+the+state+record+for+the+event.+

After winning the 200 medley relay, Pinger, Laderoute,Norris and Laderoute stand on the podium with their first place medals at the 6A OSAA State Swimming Championships. Not only did the group place first overall, they also broke the state record for the event.

Led by Robin Pinger, senior, Kylie Norris, senior, Laura Laderoute, senior and Katelyn Laderoute, freshman, the Lions claimed 4th overall at the 6A OSAA State Swimming Championships. In the 200 medley relay, Pinger, Norris, and the Laderoutes claimed West Linn’s fourth straight title in the event and broke the state record with a time of 1 minute, 45.22 seconds.

Not only did Pinger win in the 200 medley relay, she also claimed first in the 100 breaststroke, helping to contribute to the Lions overall finish.

The Lions relay performance is  also nominated by the Oregonian for the most impressive performance at the OSAA State meet.
