The llamas charge toward her, she jumps out of the way to avoid the stampede- but it’s just another Saturday for Terner Eleanor, sophomore. Terner has volunteered at her 4h llama ranch for 5 years and otherwise spends her free time volunteering at KEY club, or watching the occasional tv series on Netflix. “I find the greatest joy when working with animals,” Terner comments. Growing up as an animal lover, she has wanted to work in zoology or biology all her life. Terner also enjoys English and writing classes, and when her English teacher recommended taking Journalism as a sophomore, she knew it would be the perfect chance to improve on her writing. Terner, while currently taking Journalism 1, has friends in Journalism 2 and 3 and is looking forward to spending time with them. “My friends tell me Journalism is a fun and unique class with a family-like atmosphere, and I’m looking forward to experiencing that with them.”
