The sweet smell of pumpkin is one of the signature scents of fall, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pies and sometimes pumpkin pancakes. Satisfy your pumkpkin craving with Paul’s Pumpkin Spice Bars.
These goodies are sure to make a smash at your holiday feasts and only take a short 45 minutes to make. You probably have most of the ingredients around your house: eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and the seasonal pumpkin pureee.
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then mix the eggs, sugar, pumpkin pureee and vegetable oil in a bowl using an electric mixer. In a separate bowl, add the baking powder, baking soda, flour, salt and the cinnamon. Add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir. Spread the batter evenly into an ungreased jellyroll pan and bake for 20-30 minutes.
Top with a cream cheese frosting (if you don’t have time for this step you can always buy some premade frosting at the store.) For this you will need cream cheese and butter, with a touch of vanilla, as well as confectioners sugar. Spread on top of pumpkin bars.
Now, for the best part, enjoy!
