See video in description. The West Linn Lions (21-1) faced off for the final time this season against the Lakeridge Pacers (18-6). This was the second time in two years the these two teams had met up for a chance at the State Championship.

The Lions jumped out to a quick lead. It took the Lions eight seconds to score, as Sophmore, Dylan Tuor’s early goal set the pace. The Lions jumped out to a 4-0 lead, and ended the half leading 7-2. Lead by two All-Americans, Sophomores, Colin Squires and Ryan Klose, the Lions won the day, and earned their first state title since 2003.
