Girls Varsity Basketball Team edges Tigard, 45-35
The Varsity Girls Basketball Team ( 13-7, 11-2 Three Rivers League) extended its winning streak to seven games with a win over Tigard (12-8, 7-5 TRL) 45-35.
Trailing at halftime, the Lions third quarter surge led by Sidney Kolasinski, senior, with back to back three-pointers helped the comeback as the Lions led 29-27 in the early fourth quarter.
With three pointers from Taylor Enders, senior, and Lexie Pritchard, freshman, the Lions defeated the Tigers 45-35.
This win sets up Friday’s game against St. Mary’s (15-5, 11-1 TRL), the winner taking first place in the TRL.
The Lions play next at St. Mary’s Friday, 7 p.m.
