West Linn triumphs over South Medford 74-48, winning fourth consecutive 6A State Championship

In the OSAA 6A State Boys Basketball Championship, 1st seeded West Linn (26-3, 14-0 Three Rivers League) defeated South Medford (27-3, 13-1 Southwest Conference) 74-48, giving the Lions their fourth straight state title.

The Lions started off the game on a 23-0 run in the first quarter, not letting South Medford score until the final seconds of the quarter, giving them a 25-2 lead.

West Linn continued with this momentum as they held a 34-19 lead at halftime.

The Lions never trailed the whole game, as they finished off South Medford with a 74-48 victory, as point guard, Payton Pritchard, senior led West Linn with 25 points.

West Linn now ties Jesuit as the only Oregon schools to win four consecutive Boys Basketball State titles.
