Thirty-five thousand horse riders across the nation competed, and Kaylyn McGrady, junior, prevailed. Placing fourth in varsity horse riding, McGrady is making a name for herself in the equestrian world....

TAKING A LEAP OF FAITH. The first draw of the game and the Lions successfully gain ball control. The Lions were second to Lake Oswego in the Three River’s League, and made it to the playoffs. Their game against Hood River Valley would determine whether or not they made it to the semifinals. The varsity baseball players geared up to face Lakeridge High School on Monday evening, April 17, at home. This is the fourteenth game of their season. West Linn ended the game with a win (7-3) defeating Lakeridge. In between plays, many of the players basked in the sunlight and cooled off.

En route to her second goal of the night, Ragen Finklea, sophomore, leads the team to victory on Tuesday against St. Mary’s high school. Finklea plays club lacrosse when the high school season is off, helping her land a spot on varsity for the second year in a row. “Ragen is a really good all around player,” teammate Carey Stell, freshman, said. “She likes to play with the team instead of a one man show, which helps us to grow team chemistry. Overall, she’s a great teammate to play with.”
