Gwendolyn Marble, Gunner Maples, Sophie Passerini and Nikki Misustin, seniors, pose on sloppy day. Sloppy day reoccurs each spirit week and is the theme for next Monday, April 27.
The week of goofy, unique, and unusual outfits returns. Fifth period Leadership will be putting on another Spirit Week this school year.
“We are doing another Spirit Week because we feel it brings the school together,” Blake Westover, sophomore, said. The leadership class, taught by Eric Viuhkola, was broken up into small groups and had to come up with a big project to do.
Spirit days will be:
Monday, April 27: Sloppy Day
Tuesday, April 28: American Day
Wednesday, April 29: Hipster Day
Thursday, April 30: Jersey Day
Friday, May 1st: Spirit Day
“Everyone should participate because this is the one week everyone is allowed to dress how they want and not get judged for doing so,” Michael Whiteley-Ross, senior, said.
