West Linn sinks Lake Oswego 20-6
Connor Berggren carries West Linn with three touchdowns as Lions move to 3-0
For the second year in a row, the West Linn Lion Football (3-0, 1-0 Three Rivers League) Team beat the Lake Oswego Lakers (1-2, 0-1 TRL). Led by sophomore quarterback Tim Tawa, and junior wide receiver Connor Berggeren, the Lions handled the Lakers, 20-6.
Running back Elijah Molden, sophomore, carried the ball 14 times for 123 yards to back up West Linn’s passing attack. Backed up at West Linn’s own three yard line, Tawa threw a 97 yard bomb to Berggeren to solidify West Linn’s lead.
The Lions play Newberg (2-1, 0-1 TRL) Friday, at 7 p.m. at home.
