Everything you need to know about UNC-Duke’s Final Four matchup

On Apr. 2, the Duke Blue Devils, 2nd seed of the West region, and the North Carolina Tar Heels, the 8th seed of the East region, will battle for a spot in the National Championship. Not only are these two schools conference rivals, they’re also college basketball’s most aggressive and celebrated rivalry. Only eight miles on the Tobacco road separates private school Duke and public school North Carolina.

Their last meeting, on Mar. 5, was Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s last game at home. Coach K is considered the greatest college basketball coach of all-time by fans, other coaches, and even his own players. However, North Carolina spoiled Coach K’s day by defeating Duke 94-81 and Krzyzewski had to apologize for the loss to the fans.
