Clara Brady

Clara Brady, Staff reporter

After watching the first episode of 'Supergirl,' junior Clara Brady was drawn to the idea of being a journalist, like the TV show's lead.

To reach that goal, or see if journalism is something she will actually end up liking, she had to start somewhere and that somewhere is becoming part of the WLHSnow staff.

Brady moved from Canby to West Linn, and is a new student at West Linn High School this year.

“Moving schools my junior year is a big and scary change, but I’m already feeling at home here at West Linn and I know it’s going to be a good fit,” Brady said.

At Canby, Brady was on her schools equestrian team for two years and plans to join West Linn’s equestrian team this year, too.

“Riding horses is a risky and dangerous sport but I’m glad I took the risk because now I ride every day and it’s one of my passions,” Brady said.

Like Supergirl, Brady said she’s eager to take on the challenge of a new school and job of a journalist.

“It’s going to be tough but I’m prepared and excited,” Brady said.
