Meredith Bowers, freshman, is one of the Amplifier's newest reporters. She joined the Amplifier after her language arts teacher recommended her for the position. However this is not the first time she has worked with the printed press. Meredith's first experience with journalism came in elementary school when she wrote for the school newspaper. Besides writing articles, some of Meredith's other interests include being a member of the school swim team and taking horse riding lessons. One day she hopes to join the Civil Air Patrol and get the opportunity to fly a plane. After touring Washington D.C. last summer, Meredith hopes to attend college in the nation's captial, majoring in Criminal Justice. Meredith hopes to later work for the F.B.I. or the C.I.A.
