Ella McKay

McKay has been a four year varsity lacrosse player. She made first team all-league her sophomore and junior years. She also made first team all-state during her junior year. She had the most goals, ground balls, and caused turnovers.

McKay had been scouting for colleges on the east coast before finally settling on Elon University in North Carolina.

“I knew I would be getting a great education as well as a very competitive lacrosse team,” McKay said. “I love the small size and southern feel, it is the perfect fit.”

She valued her opportunities at West Linn as a player and student in the classroom.

“West Linn has given me the opportunity to gain a quality education as well as meaningful friendships along the way,” McKay said.

West Linn has always offered McKay a support system. They always pushed her to be the best player and person she can be.

“West Linn Lacrosse has been a wonderful community to be involved in,” McKay said. “I have gotten to learn from amazing coaches that shaped me as a student athlete.”
