Q:How has the school year been so far?
A: Amazing! It’s been really good, I love my students, I love the other teachers and it’s a very supportive welcoming environment.
Q: What was the hardest part about transitioning to a new school?
A: Even as a grown up it’s hard to make friends or know if you’re going to fit in but I feel again, really lucky that I ended up here because it hasn’t been as difficult as I worried it would be.
Q: What is one goal you wish to accomplish by the end of the school year?
A: I want my students to feel like my classroom is a safe place for them to share their ideas and not feel like their thoughts aren’t secure.
Q: Why did you want to become a teacher?
A: A lot of reasons. I would say one of them is I love learning and I want to continue to learn for my whole life and I want to learn from my students so it’s a really great way to do that.
Q: What’s the hardest part about being a teacher?
A: I guess worrying that maybe I’m not good enough which is probably true which is probably true with a lot of things in life.
