Robotics

Robotics is a team/club where students come together to work on building a robot that can accomplish a specific task that changes year to year. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8:30p.m. during the off season — this switches to Monday-Thursday from 4:30-8:30p.m. during the build season which spans from Jan. to April, when they find out the challenge of the year and build the robot. The club is run by head mentor Tim Manes alongside various student leads for different aspects of robotics. Their goal is to give kids hands-on experience with engineering, programming, and finances as well as building life skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork.
