Mark Hamper

Hamper plays both football and basketball and is a four year letterman in football, meaning he has been a part of the varsity team all years of high school. Hamper plays wide receiver as his main position in football. He is also a two year letterman for basketball, making him a threat on the court and the field.

Hamper is committed to the University Of Idaho for football to further his academic and athletic career. This year, he helped the Lions win the state championship, being selected as a TRL first team outside linebacker, first team wide receiver, and co-offensive player of the year. He won this award alongside teammate Sam Leavitt.

“The community does a great job of coming behind us and supporting us all season,” Hamper said.

He has also been a contributor as a starter on the basketball team. Hamper’s ultimate goal is to play football for as long as he can and he believes Idaho will be the best to help him get there.

“I just feel like [University of Idaho] gives me the best chance to fulfill my goal of going to the NFL,” Hamper said.
