West Linn Softball earns dominating victory over Southridge
Despite a 1-6 start to the season, the West Linn softball team took on the fourth ranked team in state, the Southridge Skyhawks (7-2), last Friday and recorded a commanding 7-2 victory.
“We excecuted when we needed to and continuously put the ball in play which caused Southridge to commit errors,” Hannah Siciliani, sophomore, said.
The momentum could not carry over to the next week, where the Lions fell to the Tigard Tigers (7-2) 6-0. West Linn will try to rebound tonight against the Wilsonville Wildcats (2-7) tonight at 5 p.m. at Wilsonville High School.
