“Yearbook, which is kind of my life,” Jess Reynolds, 12 said when I asked her about her extracurriculars. She has lots of responsibility in yearbook, and knows what she wants to do after high school. Reynolds says, “I want to be an naturopath, it’s like a natural herbalist.” Reynolds has a clear vision of what she wants to do, and how she’s going to do it. “I want to be an intern and go to Kenya and teach kids how to cultivate peace within themselves and their community. I want to open a peace village of my own one day actually in Hawaii,” Reynolds said.
