After almost a year of hiatus, fans of the USA show, “Psych,” will have to wait no more. The season premiere of “Psych” season seven will air on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m on USA.
“Psych” is an American detective comedy-drama television series created by Steve Franks. It stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, an average Santa Barbarian whose life consists of working with the Santa Barbara Police Department as their “psychic,” only to his secret that he is in fact not psychic, but possesses “heightened observational skills” and distinct detective skills. The show also stars Dule Hill as Burton “Gus” Guster, Spencer’s best friend and partner-in-crime. Shawn and Gus team up in this show filled with car-chasing thrills, slapstick and character comedy and a sprinkle of romance between Roday’s character and Juliet “Jules” O’Hara, played by Maggie Lawson (who is also Roday’s present partner).
In the season seven premiere, Shawn visits his father, Henry (played by Corbin Bernsen) in the hospital. Juliet is at Shawn’s side, but it is still a tough situation for Shawn to handle. The question is: will the fake detective be able to handle it?
Tune into USA Network to catch up with this infamous detective. “Psych” will run on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
