Grad requirements force creativity
Students seeking elective courses look to summer school, early bird and afterschool options to free space in their schedule.
Focusing on the song “I see the light” from the Disney movie Tangled, teacher Aubrey Patterson helps lead her choir one students in preparing for their upcoming performance. Her class is year long, which often becomes a problem for students due to other required classes. However, this obstacle can be overcome by students who have a passion too strong to let other graduation requirements keep them from the electives they enjoy the most.
