West Linn Varsity Lacrosse Topples Lakeridge in 6-5 Win
See video recap in the article. West Linn played their arch rivals Tuesday night at West Linn High School. Right off the bat there were two quick goals, Lakeridge looked fierce, but counterattacking goals by West Linn evened up the game. After back and forth goals the Lions entered the fourth quarter in a tie, 4-4. Two goals rocketed the Lions to a sizable lead. After a three minute game of keep-away, the Pacers dislodged the ball and charged up the field threatening to score. A defensive stand and a save by West Linn’s goalie, Will Strickland, Junior, helped the Lions squeeze out a tight 6-5 victory.
