StoryCorps: life, encouragement and weird carpet stains
Over Thanksgiving, I sat down with my father Geoffrey Gill to get some more information on his life as part of StoryCorps Great Thanksgiving Listen. In the interview, I finally learned how he truly met my mother, more about his childhood as a sports-obsessed bare minimum student, and about the door-to-door salesman who had a fight with his friend’s most stubborn carpet stain in college (see 4:44 for that part).
