The Actor Showcase, a fundraiser for the West Linn Thespian troupe, was held on Saturday. The showcase consisted of a series of monologues and musical pieces that the troupe will be bringing to regionals this weekend, with a potluck during intermission.
Actors showed off their pieces that they had been working on for several weeks. Actors either performed two contrasting monologues or a musical pieces. The final piece they performed was their group musical act, “21 Guns,” from Green Day’s musical “American Idiot.”

Throughout the game, the Lions knew that it wasn’t just about their victory today. “I think [playing for cancer] makes it bigger than just a game,” McGraw said. “Knowing that you have a bigger impact in this world than just who you are as one person.”](https://wlhsnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/I70A1454-1-1200x800.jpg)
