Tripp Lot parking becomes available for current students starting Wednesday
Because Class of 2014 students require their spots in the Senior and Tripp lots through Graduation, and because of upcoming construction on the football field, juniors and underclassmen must wait until Wednesday to park in a lot on campus.
Before the school year ends, construction to replace the football field’s turf will be staged in the Senior Lot because the turf has expired its recommended age. Construction machines and materials are to be located in the parking lot, according to Mark Martens, assistant principal.
Today and tomorrow, current seniors are returning to negotiate final grades with teachers and thus need access to their spots. After the Graduation ceremony tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., spots that were formerly designated for seniors in the Tripp Lot will be available to other students.
