From jean shorts to short shorts, soccer jerseys to tank tops, the Powder Tough boys’ volleyball tournament was full of unique styles and a dedication to the ultimate prize: the right to play the staff in front of the whole school. The tournament was run by ASB as part of the effort to bring in supplies for the Canned Food Drive. After slaying all challengers, the Power Rangers were the final student team left. In a match they will not soon forget, the team fell to the staff 16-14. One player still feels cheated, however.
“We played a lot of good teams but ultimately got cheated in the Finals,” Kevin Cathcart, senior member of the Power Rangers, said.
