After starting league games 3 – 0, the West Linn boys lacrosse team is looking on to this Friday, April 20 at 8 pm, when they’ll host rival Lake Oswego, who lost by a single goal to Canby on Tuesday, dropping them to fourth in the league. In the past, Lake Oswego has been a big rival for West Linn. Last year the game went to overtime and ended in a win for the Lions.
“This year Lake Oswego will come out fired up. We have to match their intensity and play as a team to win,” Ian Anderson, starting sophomore attackman said when asked about Friday’s game West Linn is currently second in league and fourth in state, while Lake Oswego is ninth in state. The game starts at 8 pm on Friday at West Linn High School.
