The West Linn Lions (4-1, 0-0 Three Rivers League) took on the Sunset Apollos last Friday night and won in commanding fashion, 12-6.
The Lions were led by Ryan Klose, freshman, and Dalton Tuor, senior, who each scored four goals. To help add to West Linn’s lead, Zach Gaunt, junior, added two goals of his own along with seniors Ryan Bowers and Drew Crowther who each scored one.
West Linn was in control the whole game and never relinquished its lead. Freshmen Colin Squires and Dean Swanson along with senior Tanner Hampton were able to shut down Sunset’s best players.
The Lions take on the Lake Oswego Lakers this monday at 8 p.m at West Linn.
