On Saturday April 20, the University of Oregon and Oregon State men’s lacrosse team took the field at the West Linn High School with the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League title on the line. Oregon came out on top 15-7.
The Ducks (10-4, 3-0 PNCLL) were led by midfielder Evan Merritt, junior, who scored six goals along with midfielder Taylor White, freshman, who had five goals and four assists.
The Beavers (11-3, 2-1 PNCLL) had goals from attacker Ben Dill (four), sophomore, and two from sophomore midfielder Leo Burby, senior midfielder Adrian Macalalad, and freshman midfielder Spencer Rotenberg.
Oregon will play in the PNCLL tournament with championship implications on the line. The game will be played at Wilsonville High School at either 4 p.m. or 7 p.m on May 4 and the championship game on May 5
