West Linn Baseball earns dominating victory over Lincoln
The West Linn Boys Varsity Baseball team (3-4) took on the Lincoln Cardinals (5-4) on April 1st, and emerged victorious with a commanding 6-0 win.
Starting pitcher Karsen Lindell, junior, allowed only one hit and striking out six through five innings, with the only hit being a bunt down the third baseline. Parker Huffman, junior, had two hits, a triple and a single, respectively.
The Lions scored three runs in the third, one in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the sixth. Braden Vogt, senior, was on base three times with one hit and two walks and added two runs for the Lions helping extend its lead throughout the game.
Trevor Wells, sophomore, pitched two shutout innings and the sixth and seventh inning helping the Lions close out the game.
