Baseball defeats Sprague 5-3, advances to OSAA State Quarterfinals
In the second round of the OSAA State Playoffs West Linn (21-8, 11-6 Three Rivers League) defeated Sprague (16-12, 10-6 Greater Valley Conference) 5-3. The Lions offense powered them over Sprague with home runs from Will Matthiessen, senior, and Tim Tawa, junior. This advances West Linn to the OSAA State Quarterfinals for the second year in a row where they will play at Sheldon (24-4, 20-1 Southwest Conference) Friday at 5:00 p.m.
