Anna Strobbe

Anna Strobbe, WLHSnow Staff

You wouldn’t guess that Anna Strobbe, freshman, hadn’t wanted to be in journalism, but she readily admitted it. Upon being asked why she’d signed up for the class, Strobbe answered, “I didn’t.”

However, she does have something that she really does enjoy: basketball.

She plays for the high school team, which she describes as high commitment and time consuming.

“It’s really fun, I enjoy how competitive it is,” Strobbe says. She also participates in events from young life, a local Christian organization.

Though this is only her freshman year, Strobbe confesses to be under quite a homework load, particularly from her psychology class. However, this is not greatly affecting her high school experience.

“I’m enjoying freshman year, it’s better than Rosemont [the middle school she attended],” Strobbe said.
