Kaelin Kehm

Kaelin Kehm, Kaleidoscope Editor

Kaelin Kehm loves storytelling through listening to music. When she is not playing volleyball, she is constantly writing poetry and screenplays; while making her own original artwork. Kaelin is so excited to be the editor for Kaleidoscope this year and to have the opportunity to share students’ artwork with the community. She has seen how her artwork and writing has grown up with her through the COVID-19 pandemic, and knows that this is just as important to many other students. “Volleyball, poetry, screenwriting, and art sew me together into a masterpiece of myself,” describes Kaelin. She now sees the beauty of the world that surrounds her, when before life seemed to pass her by too fast. “I started up photography during the pandemic. and since then, I have taken notice of the unique shapes of leaves and of the clouds in the sky,” says Kaelin. COVID has given everyone a lot of time to think and reflect upon themselves. Kaelin feels so blessed to have been able to play volleyball, attend school, get two poetry books published, write screenplays, but most of all, make some of her greatest masterpieces through the pandemic. “The world is truly a masterpiece of its own, and I am glad I have taken the time to appreciate all of its beauty,” as quoted by Kaelin.
