Logan Christensen

Logan Christensen, Staff Reporter

Logan Christensen, sophomore, has been interested in writing, media, reporting and news since the 2016 presidential election.

“The 2016 election was my first real experience with politics and the first time I started paying attention to the news,” Christensen said. ”I was intrigued by the political climate and how it influenced the news and media.”

When Christensen isn’t looking into politics or reading articles, he can be commonly spotted playing soccer at Rosemont Middle School and the high school. Christensen plays for Crossfire Oregon and for the high school team.

“I think I like the high school team better because it is a short season, but very intense,” Christensen said. “I really enjoy playing with friends that I see at school. It really strengthens friendships.”

Although the only sport Christensen plays competitively is soccer, he enjoys a large variety of sports and activities.

“I enjoy most athletic activities, especially when I am competing against people,” Christensen said.

Christensen is looking forward to helping provide West Linn with relevant and reliable news as a Journalism 1 student.
