Band Quartet performs in math class
Sharing music with the class, Kathleen Terner’s advanced algebra students were allowed a break, while a group of band students came into class share their music. Christian San Nicolas, Andrew Van Horn, Joshua Choi, and Alyssa Hargis, sophomores, were preparing to compete for the best high school musicians in the state. As the class absorbed the music, Terner said, “Looking around the room, not a single person was on their phone. That is the greatest gift you could receive now a days.”
