The business is active in the community and participated in the Downtown Willamette trick-or-treating in October by handing out coloring pages kids could return with for a discount on their purchase. “It has just been a positive experience all the way around and we’re big supporters of our local community,” May said.

Meikle, who was an Editor-in-Chief for the yearbook last year as well, holds both and stands at the center of the group. “That was an amazing feeling, going and grabbing the third place award,” Meikle said. “All of it paid off. I cried so much over that book, being able to receive [the award] was one of the highlights of my high school career, it was like the coolest thing ever.”

Several students were seated on the edge of the stage clapping and playing percussion instruments to add to the sound. The song involved shouting, singing, and clapping.
