Ruth Offer, Chalk Walk organizer, brought this tradition from Wyoming in an attempt to make use of the renovated sidewalks of Willamette Falls Dr. “[This is] a community event for the kids,” Offer said.

Olivia Orth, Grace Thaut, Lillie Mae Summers, and Macall Fox are some of the 20 athletes on the competition team this year with four stunt groups. The team is moving categories due to the size of their roster.. “One challenge this year is moving up from the medium rec category, we competed in last year, to large rec category,” Jorgensen said.
