Despite having the bases loaded, the team was unable to score any runs. “It’s just the beginning of the season. We’re just going to be playing out best by June, [and] that’s where champions are,” Rowe said.

Myrtle Guarisco, senior, and Eloise Guarisco, sophomore, play ‘A duet in D Major.’ This performance took place around 30 minutes after their act with the Woodland Quintet 1, similarly to other students who had multiple performances throughout the day. “We just picked a piece that we both liked, and it wasn't too heavy,” Myrtle said. “The parts were pretty equal and there were some pretty harmonies. It was fun to play with my sister.”

President of the Pokemon club, Carson Steinbrenner, 12, enjoys playing video games in his free time.

Steinbrenner is taking journalism 1 because he enjoys talking and writing stories.

Steinbrenner is planning on becoming a therapist after college, and is passionate about helping other people.

“I love helping others, It just comes naturally. It brings me pleasure to know that I have affected others in a positive way,” Carson said to me.
