Celebrated in Southern Asia, it is one of the most celebrated holidays in Hinduism. “[It] originated out of Hinduism and the epic like [how] in Greek mythology, there are all those stories about the gods,” Grover said. “In Hinduism, we have epics like those in Greek mythology. There's a certain epic that's very important called the Ramayana.”
