Sean Keating will fill Kevin Mills shoes as vice principal
Sean Keating was selected from a pool of 60 applicants for the vice principal job replacing Kevin Mills who was named as principal on Feb. 11. After various screening processes, Keating was selected as one of three candidates interviewed by a team of school and building administrators, teachers, classified staff, parents and students.
“Sean brings a passion for students, and a desire to contribute to our community,” Kevin Mills, vice principal, said. “I feel that he will work well with our staff and be a leader in generating further success for all.”
Two potential candidates were then invited to return for a second round of interviews with district and building administrators, during which Keating was selected.
Keating has served as the Vice Principal at Vaca High School in Vacaville, Calif. since 2013. Before that he was an English teacher in Napa Valley, Calif.
