Boys and Girls Varsity basketball teams qualify for playoffs
Both the boys and girls varsity basketball teams have qualified for the OSAA State Tournament. The boys (20-4, 13-1 Three Rivers League) have earned the number one overall seed in the tournament and will play Centennial (11-14, 4-10 Mt. Hood Conference) tonight at 7 p.m. at WLHS. If they win, they will play the winner of Lincoln and Sheldon, Friday at WLHS.
The Girls Varsity Basketball team (15-8, 13-3 TRL) will play Wilson (13-11, 11-5 Portland Interscholastic League) Wednesday 7 p.m. at WLHS. If they win, they will play the winner of Sunset and Roseburg, time and place to be determined.
